As we approach the close of another defining year, I am reminded of the resilience, discipline, and excellence that
continue to shape the SANEDI story. This has been a year of measurable progress and standout performance –
performance that reflects who we are as an organisation and the role we play in South Africa’s energy transition.
I am proud to share that SANEDI achieved 100% of its performance targets for the 2024/2025 financial year and earned a
fourth consecutive clean audit opinion from the Auditor-General of South Africa. This milestone reinforces SANEDI’s
commitment to research excellence, innovation, accountability, and sound governance. It is also a testament to the
strong oversight of the Board and the focused leadership of our management team.
