Greenline Africa specialises in the development of solar thermal projects. Our systems are comprised of leading technologies and are typically made up of PV-T collectors, Heat Pumps and Thermal storage for the built environment, in particular for high rise apartment blocks, hotels, hospitals, student accommodation and others. Additionally, we are working on developing solar thermal systems for industrial processing which technologies are comprised of high temperature solar thermal parabolic tracking collectors to produce steam up to 160 Deg c, high temperature flat plate collectors producing heated water up to 200 Deg c and linear Fresnel mirror collectors which can produce temperatures of up to 350 Deg c. Included in our solutions are non pressurised and pressurised thermal storage tanks (TESS) and PCM Phase change material storage. Additionally, we have a high temperature OeM heat pump partner who builds customised HTHP's that operate up to 90 Deg c. We are also in partnership with a European OeM who have developed a high temperature heat pump that operates at 200 Deg c. These units are combined with miniature vaporised steam compressors. Three projects have been submitted under the EU Horizon/Eureka Eurogia and Eurostars grant programs and have included three different multinational food and beverage companies. A fourth grant under the UNIDO A2D has been submitted together with a large consortium comprised of European and South African partners. |
