EE-LEAP Frogging Project Manager
The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the overall management of the Project and day-to-day oversight, including the mobilisation of all project inputs, supervision over project staff, consultants and sub-contractors.
The Project Manager will report to the National Project Director (Department of Energy and Electricity) and overseen by UNDP programme manager for all of the project’s substantive and administrative issues.

Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree (or academic equivalent) and 10 years’ minimum experience in Project Management, Environmental Management, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Energy Economics, Physics or another field with direct relevance to the project.
- A MSc or PhD and 5 years’ minimum experience Project Management, Environmental Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Energy Economics, Physics or another field with direct relevance to the project.
- At least 5 years of experience in managing large-scale projects on climate change mitigation, energy efficiency, and/or and certification labelling of products in South Africa.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable project/programme management experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with ministries, national or provincial institutions with relevance to the project.
